Unfortunately, itās not very convenient if both right- and left-handed people need to use it, so Iāll be ordering a second one to accommodate both preferences. ***Just a side note: after reviewing a different seller’s item, I noticed the price had been absurdly increased, so Iām glad this one is still reasonably priced.

I just received this product and couldn’t wait to try it out. The blades are impressively sharp, which is essential for effective use. With a bit of back-and-forth motion, I was able to easily cut through the matting on my cat, and then I brushed away the leftover bits with no trouble.
Previously, I tried a different brand of matting remover that looked sharp from the outside, but the blades were completely dull, making it nearly impossible to remove mats without tearing at the fur. This product, however, is designed correctly with genuinely sharp blades that cleanly cut through hair. While you do need to wiggle it a bit, it performs much better than I anticipated.
One improvement I would suggest is the addition of a carrying case or blade protector, as the sharpness of the blades is a concern. It comes in a standard thin cardboard box, which is adequate, but I would gladly pay a little extra for a version that includes some protective casing for the blades.
