    I absolutely adore this mouse. Once the battery is activated, it squeaks with the slightest movement, mimicking a real mouse perfectly. It’s also quite realistic in appearance! However, my cats aren’t as thrilled about it. They seem indifferent, occasionally giving it a half-hearted bat but not much else. Interestingly, I find it on the first floor every morning after bringing it upstairs at night. It seems they’re at least moving it around after we go to bed, possibly because they don’t want us watching them. Maybe they think it’s “beneath their dignity” to play with their toy mouse in front of us. I constantly find myself stepping on it, as it appears in various spots, none of which are where I left it. Clearly, they are interacting with it on some level since it squeaks every time I step on it—just like a real mouse.

    I’m not sure why they aren’t more interested in playing with it; perhaps they’re just lazy. I once had a cat who would catch real mice and bring them into the bathtub to play with, so I know they can be hunters. Unfortunately, I’ve had to rescue a few mice from her, and some became her dinner before I could intervene. I think she would have loved this toy, while my current two cats seem unimpressed.

    Should you buy it? Absolutely! It’s one of the most realistic cat toys I’ve ever encountered. If your cat enjoys playing, they’ll likely be captivated by it. My two, on the other hand, seem to prefer napping. Despite living in a 1900s farmhouse with plenty of mice around, neither of them has caught any, unlike their predecessor. In short, I recommend giving it a try. It’s reasonably priced and might entertain you even more than your cat!

    This is my cat’s favorite toy! He brings it everywhere, even playing with it next to the litter box to ensure it doesn’t escape, which is pretty funny. The toy makes a squeaking sound that instantly grabs his attention. After about a year of use, the sound has weakened a bit, but I believe that’s because he plays with it constantly and we often toss it around vigorously. The size is great for an adult cat—maybe slightly large for a kitten, but still manageable, about the size of a standard iPhone. I really like the size; it’s perfect for a mouse toy, unlike many others I’ve tried that are too small.

    This is my cat’s absolute favorite toy! It features a ball suspended on a stretchy string attached to a bendy plastic frame that’s secured to a door. The cat enjoys pulling the ball and then letting it go, which causes the stretchy material to snap tight and sends the ball ricocheting back and forth against the door and a wide area around it, almost like a racquetball game! It’s an amazing toy for pets. Just a word of caution: keep it away from shelves with breakable items! Ensure there’s a good few feet of space around the door to avoid any accidents.

    My 10-month-old kitten is obsessed with playing with mice, specifically brown or tan ones. After losing her last two, I decided to order these, thinking she might not like them because they make a squeaky noise and are a bit smaller. However, she loves them just as much! She plays with them as often as her other favorite toy. This purchase is definitely worth it for your furry family member. They get plenty of exercise, and hopefully, they’ll know how to handle a real mouse if one ever comes into the house. I highly recommend these!

    I have one cat (out of four) who absolutely adores this toy! When I say “go get your mouse,” he eagerly searches for one of the many toys and brings it back to me, growling at it in excitement. It’s such a funny sight! If I pick up the toy, shake it to make it squeak, and then toss it, all four cats go after it, and the fun begins! It’s really entertaining! I love that this comes in a two-pack since my cats tend to go through them quickly. They don’t destroy the toys, but they hide them so well that I often give up looking and just buy more. It’s a fantastic purchase! My cats are particularly fond of the squeak that this toy makes, which is hard to find in my area.

Although they’re meant for cats, my dog prefers playing with these over her dog toys. The only downside is that they can be noisy in the evening; the squeaking can be quite annoying when you’re trying to sleep.

I won’t hold it against the manufacturer if she manages to rip it open after a few weeks, given her aggressive play style. Still, it lasts long enough to justify the purchase. I’m ordering six more today because there’s no other toy that keeps her so engaged for such a long time. It offers her exercise and provides us with great entertainment.
