This product appears to be well-made, but unfortunately, it didnât work for my dog. She has dense, tightly curled fur, and it didnât cut through as effectively as my previous clippers. I was really hoping that the quieter operation would help since she gets anxious about her legs and paws. While it is indeed quiet, it just couldnât manage her thick coat. What a disappointment!

I just received this product, and it came charged, so I decided to try it out on my doodle (who has a lot of poodle in him). It cut through his fur effortlessly, even tackling his SUPER curly elbows with easeâno effort at all! This already outshines our $100+ name brand clippers. After seeing other reviews praising its performance on doodle hair and mats, I couldn’t resist trying it, especially at such a low price. I’m not disappointed! The product is quiet and user-friendly. I ordered this set months ago and have used it on my dog three times. I only needed to charge it today and realized my set didnât come with a charger. Since I’m past the return window, I’m hoping they can fix this. I recommend the product, but be sure to check the box upon arrival to ensure all parts are included!

I usually take my dog to the groomer, but as he ages, heâs become increasingly anxious about it. I decided to try this grooming set to see if I could cut his hair myself and help ease his anxiety. Being disabled with back and hip issues, I wasn’t sure how manageable this would be, but the set made the process much easier than I expected.
My dog is a 30 lb mixed breed (a shih tzu and lab mix, amusingly) and is quite strong for his size. I started by turning on the clippers next to him to get him accustomed to the noise, and to my surprise, it didnât bother him at allâhe just kept sleeping. I managed to clip most of the exposed side while he snoozed, and when he finally woke up, he merely sniffed the clippers and lay back down. The biggest challenge was flipping him over when he just wanted to keep resting. I was thrilled that the noise didnât startle him.
I also loved that the set includes a comb and scissors, which helped me tidy up his feet, ears, and sensitive areas. Everything is well-made; the scissors and trimmer are sharp yet safe. After reading the instructions, I found the trimmer easy to use and adjust. Its size is just rightâit’s not as bulky as a full-sized human trimmer but still substantial enough to groom his whole body without taking forever. I used the trimmer on and off for over an hour, and it didnât overheat, which was another concern of mine. Overall, it took less time than I anticipated, and I was able to finish his haircut in under two hours.
I was initially worried he might end up looking a bit odd, as I’ve seen some pretty unfortunate DIY grooming jobs before. However, this set made it easy to achieve a nice look. I donât have extensive grooming experienceâaside from occasionally trimming my partner’s hairâbut Diesel ended up looking like he had been to a professional groomer. Itâs not perfect, of course, but it looks really nice. I was able to achieve a consistent trim all around, and I even blended different lengths effortlessly. Diesel loved getting his summer cut, and Iâm planning to trim him again in a week or so, which inspired me to write this review.
If anything happened to this trimmer, I would definitely buy it again, especially for its quiet operation. The picture is from before his haircut, and funny enough, heâs just sleeping right now!

She did resist having her face trimmed and tried to nip at the clippers, but they were very safe and didn’t hurt her.
