This brush does a fantastic job; itâs easy to use, and he seems to enjoy the process. Cleaning the brush is quick and simple, allowing us to easily dispose of the hair and keep brushing him to prevent hairballs around the house. It feels comfortable in hand and appears to be quite durable. We appreciate how effortlessly it removes a significant amount of hair from him. While I’m not sure how it would perform on a long-haired dog, it works wonderfully for our lab.

I’m impressed by how much loose fur it collects, which helps keep my house cleaner. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I previously used the Furminator brand, which had sturdier, less pointy teeth that seemed less likely to scratch our dog’s skin. It also featured a button to easily release the collected hair from the brush. While the Furminator is about three times more expensive, I decided to give this brand a try instead, and I’m happy with the results.

I purchased one of these a few years back, but it fell apart after a few months. I decided to buy another since it’s significantly cheaper than a Furminator. While it does the job, the Furminator collects more hair with each stroke, is more durable, and features a handy button for releasing hair. It’s decent for the price, but it doesn’t compare to the brand name.

I have two short-haired cats who are incredibly resistant to every grooming tool Iâve tried, from gloves to regular brushes and silicone brushes. However, since they shed heavily, I decided to give this brush a shot due to its reasonable price.
To my surprise, both cats took to it immediately. With just gentle pressure, they flopped over purring and welcomed a full grooming session. The fact that they allowed any brushing at all deserves a five-star rating.
This brush effectively removed a ton of undercoat and loose fur from both cats in no time. Itâs truly an amazing tool that works wonderfully.
The only downside is the need to frequently pause to clear the hair from the brush, especially with my heavy-shedding cats. Itâs also best to use the brush in a humid environment or with a damp grooming glove after a few strokes, as it tends to create static, causing fur to cling to you, your carpet, and walls. The instructions advise against getting the brush head wet, likely due to rust concerns. However, using a damp glove every few passes mitigated the static issue, and I didnât have to wet the brush itself.
Overall, this is an excellent brush that quickly and effectively collects loose fur and undercoat from short-haired cats. Itâs sturdy yet lightweight, and the grip is comfortable. I highly recommend it!

I previously owned a FURminator but misplaced it, so I decided to try a knockoff brush again. This brush is fantastic! It removes significantly more hair with each stroke compared to the FURminator, and the detachable head makes it much easier to maneuver while brushing my short-haired cat. Its wide design allows me to cover more area in fewer strokes, and my cat absolutely loves it. Highly effective!
Amazon is a rip off –
I found this brush to be highly effective for regular use, but I may have overdone it. It would be helpful if the seller provided a warning about this, along with links on how to use it properly. Ideally, it should be used once or twice a week with gentle strokes from head to tail.

I purchased this de-shedding comb for my new Labrador, and it performs exceptionally well. Surprisingly, it also works on my Boston Terrier, who has fine hair! My Boston typically dislikes being brushed, but oddly enough, he enjoys it with this comb. I use it every other day on my Labrador and one of my Bostons. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!
