I have a service dog who is my guide, as I am blind. I’ve tried numerous brushes, some recommended by his training school and others I’ve discovered on my own. I’ve spent a lot of money on various tools to manage dog hair, but nothing compares to this brush. It leaves his coat feeling incredibly soft, and we removed so much hair that it felt like we could have made another dog! He seems much happier after using it, and it’s surprisingly easy to use. Thereâs no pulling involved; he stood patiently while I brushed him. It works exceptionally well and cleans up in about two seconds. If you have a dog, this brush is a must-have. I’ve paid double the price for brushes that didn’t perform nearly as well.

I’ve tried a variety of brushes for my longhaired Siamese, who has been struggling with hairballs and can’t seem to manage that thick coat. I’ve used regular brushes, the well-known Furminator, and even the “de-shedding glove,” but none of them removed more than a few strands of his fine fur. When I first saw this product, I was skeptical because the brush teeth looked too far apart, and the hooks didnât seem effective. I thought, “This will just glide through his fur without doing anything.” However, after reading reviews from others with similarly fluffy cats, I decided to give it a try.
Iâm so glad I did! I donât know what kind of magic this brush possesses, but it pulls out clumps of fur. The amount shown in the picture is only half of what I managed to collect by the end of our session. Just a heads upâyour carpet will be covered in fur, and you’ll likely be too! Since he doesn’t like to sit still, I keep a container of treats nearby, letting him paw at it while I brush. I give him a treat and manage to get a few strokes in on his hindquarters while he chews. I also found that using short, quick strokes mimics how a cat licks and really helps grab more fur. I alternate directionsâdown strokes, side strokes, and back down againâto maximize the amount I collect.
I took another reviewer’s advice about choosing the small size for cats, and I’m grateful for that recommendation. Itâs the perfect size for my hefty Siamese, and heâs much happier with less fur on him. The product feels sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. Thank you, Maxpower Planet Pet!

This is my second brushânot because the first one didn’t work, but because my dog loves being brushed. If I don’t brush him when he wants, he tends to chew on it. Unfortunately, he broke the handle of the first one. This new brush is fantastic! Itâs a great price, removes hair effortlessly, and is easy to store. Plus, it’s so user-friendly that my kids can brush the dogs too. Highly recommend!

It does its job, but I’ve noticed that the blades become less effective after the first use. This is a solid piece of equipment, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. I just need to figure out if there’s a way to sharpen the tines or improve its performance, as it’s now pulling quite a bit on the side meant for cutting small mats. This makes it challenging to use the side designed for thinning the undercoat. Itâs a handy tool, but it works best if the coat is thoroughly brushed out beforehand.
