The vacuum has strong suction and worked well on our Australian Shepherd. Although it’s not very loud, she’s a nervous dog and is still scared of it. We had to hold her down to brush her, but it effectively removed her hair.

I’m updating my review after Hicozy reached out to me and promptly sent a replacement trimmer head. I also discovered that there is a Hicozy support website that is easily found through a search engine, separate from Amazon. If I need any additional parts or support, I can contact Hicozy directly without any hassle. I appreciate their quick response to my concerns.
The vacuum and all the attachments work wonderfully. Although I’m not a professional groomer, I have two dogs that require regular grooming, and this system makes it easy without creating a mess. I can quickly clip or shave my dogs without spending an entire day preparing the space, grooming, and then cleaning up piles of fur.
This is a fantastic concept but poorly executed. I purchased the unit on May 12th and received it shortly after. I first used it in May, but the trimmer head kept falling off. I tried again in June for a light trim on my puppy’s face, and while the trimmer worked, the head fell off several times. In July, while grooming my dog, the trimmer head fell apart completely, leaving my dog looking unkempt.
I’ve used the cordless trimmer three times, for less than 15 minutes each session, which means it barely lasted an hour. While the rest of the unit still functions, the cordless trimmer’s failure renders it nearly useless.
There are no replacement parts available for order. The seller directs me back to Amazon, and Amazon tells me I’m past the return window. All I want is a replacement for the cordless trimmer, not an entire unit.
Doesnt vacuum and mop at the same time –
I had never bought a vacuum designed specifically for pets before; I typically used a canister vacuum when cleaning up after my dog years ago. I found this product, and to my surprise, all four of my dogs initially seemed scared and would run away. However, the two dogs I thought might tolerate being brushed were actually frightened. To my amazement, the dog I expected to be terrified came running over and loved being brushed! The fourth dog wasn’t as enthusiastic, but I managed to brush him too. Overall, this purchase has been fantastic, and I’m extremely satisfied with it. It was also very easy to assemble. I think you’ll enjoy it as well!

While it has multiple settings, it can be quite loud, which initially startled them. However, we’ve found effective ways to soothe them, and now we absolutely love using it! It makes grooming much cleaner and easier. I recommend giving your dog a bath beforehand, as a greasy coat can clog the combs. All the attachments work perfectly, and the trimmer is great for tidying up their paws. It even helps vacuum up hair from the carpet and couches. I highly recommend this tool for any dog owner!
