Initially, I found the scissors uncomfortable when trying to trim my dog’s paw hair, as they didn’t fit well on my thumb and finger. At 6 ft 3 in, I struggled with the fit. However, I soon discovered that the blue plastic rings inside each scissor can be removed, which allowed for a much better fit and improved grip.
The only drawback I encountered was the tightening screw in the center of each pair of scissors. I found it challenging to tighten with my fingers, and I was hesitant to use pliers for fear of stripping the screw.
As long as you take your time with the cutting process, you should be fine. This was my first attempt at trimming my dog’s paw hair, and while he wasn’t entirely cooperative, I managed to get it done. I believe that with time, he will become more accustomed to it, making the task easier.
Overall, the cost of this kit is comparable to a one-time visit to a groomer for the same service, making it a worthwhile investment since you can use it repeatedly.
