My cats absolutely adore this! It was hilarious to see them play, tossing it into the air. The colors are lovely and pastel, plus they’re incredibly soft. Cleaning them is a breeze; just toss them in the washing machine. We’ve had these for quite some time, and they’re still in excellent condition, even with multiple cats playing with them. These three cat kicker toys are truly exceptional. First off, they look and feel fantastic, and the packaging is great for gifting. The kickers are made from soft materials that produce a delightful crinkling sound, yet they are incredibly durable. After a vigorous play session with my cat, the first one still looked brand new, even with some dampness from all the biting and tugging. It’s clear they’re packed with catnip, as my cat was completely captivated by it for the first few hours. I purchased these to keep my indoor cat entertained and to help exercise his hind legs. However, since he is quite long, these kickers seem better suited for small to medium cats. Regardless, I know he’ll love the second one when I give it to him later. I plan to gift the third one to a friend with a smaller cat, as it will make a wonderful present.

Even though I purchased three, they always seem to squabble over the same one. The toys are soft and filled with catnip, plus they make a crinkling sound when the cats play. It’s a delight to watch! I’m not sure what’s inside these toys (I do, it’s catnip), but my cats absolutely adore them! I ended up buying a second bundle because they were constantly fighting over the first one, so now each of them has their own. Just the sound of me squeezing it brings them all to my feet, eagerly waiting for their turn to chase and wrestle. They’re super crinkly, durable, and soft. I do wish there was a way to refill them with fresh catnip, but my cats still have a fantastic time!

Mine has a tendency to kick, so they definitely use it.
It appears sturdy after 4 months of use.
Positives:
I have a 12-year-old gray male cat who plays with anything and everything, and a 7-year-old black male cat who is picky, only engaging with laser pointers, bugs, and string—no cat toys. Surprisingly, he seems to enjoy this toy, especially when the gray cat is playing with one too. It could be jealousy or the catnip that attracts him, or maybe a bit of both. Both cats visibly enjoy it. My gray cat loves to kick and has long nails, and he really gets into this toy. Even the bigger black cat occasionally kicks it around.
Negatives:
One downside is the little feather pieces. Some are longer, and you can see it in the videos when the black cat plays with the green one—there’s a long piece that crosses his face. My other gray cat has a habit of eating anything, including hair, dust bunnies, and carpet fibers. It’s frustrating because I constantly have to cat/toddler-proof my home. If it can be picked up or licked, it’s a risk. That’s a significant downside since I found one of those feather pieces on the floor when they were new.
Also, the catnip doesn’t last long. I’m trying to maximize their lifespan by storing them in separate Ziploc bags to keep the air out when not in use. The final downside is the cost. I paid about $13 on 11/27/23, and since they don’t last more than a few months before the catnip’s effectiveness fades, I’ll look for replacements at around 50% less—ideally between $5-$7.
Notes:
I store these toys in a Ziploc bag with the air squeezed out when not in use. I take them out for short play sessions until the cats lose interest, then back in the bag they go. I bought this pack of three toys on 11/27/23, and they’re just now nearing the point where I should consider replacing them if I want the cats to enjoy the catnip.
Overall, it’s a good toy—sturdy, crinkly, with a decent catnip scent. The cats seem to love it, and their claws and teeth haven’t left any holes or rips. Storing them in a Ziploc bag extends the life of the catnip. On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate it an 8-9, especially because my gray cat loves to play and really gets into it due to the catnip. He does slobber on it quite a bit since he doesn’t have teeth, so I have to wait for it to dry before putting it away. His frequent playtime might also contribute to the catnip’s diminished strength, but he still enjoys it, especially when I encourage him to play.
